Pastors Alex and Amelia lead the ministry
team at Oasis City Church. Born in Puerto Rico and raised
in New York City, they have experienced the life-changing
power of Jesus Christ. Alex experienced a radical transformation
while serving a four-year term in federal prison. Graduates
of Valley Forge Christian College, Alex is a gifted
preacher and teacher of God’s Word, and Amelia
serves in the areas of worship and children ministries.
They have devoted their lives to serve the hurting people
of Olney and the city of Philadelphia.

Addressing the challenges of family
life is at the heart of ministry at Oasis City Church.
Dr. Manuel and Chris Cordero offer their expertise
in this area of service. Dr. Cordero has served as
a chaplain in the federal prison system for over 20
years and is currently Assistant to the Chief of Chaplains
in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. With a Doctorate
in Family Counseling, Manuel is committed to help
families grow in spiritual and emotional health.
Timothy & Raquel Esteves-Joyce—Youth

Pastors Tim and Raquel Joyce are on
a mission to help teenagers thrive in the complex
world in which they live. A graduate of Valley Forge
Christian College, Tim is developing young leaders
for effective living and meaningful ministry. Raquel
is a prolific writer and currently working on her
doctorate degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
They have served with Oasis City Church since its
formation in 1998.
Donna
Ervin—Administrative Assistant

Organization in ministry is crucial
to effectively serve a community. Donna Ervin can
get the job done when it comes to details. She serves
Pastors Alex and Amelia in the administration at Oasis
City Church. Donna is employed with the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, bringing leadership to ten districts
of the Department of Public Welfare for the Philadelphia
area. She has been with Oasis for the past five years. |
